Join The Diversion Beta Team
Greetings, I am Garbot1– your Diversion host and guide and I need your help to test the massive new Diversion upgrade the Edis Brothers at Ezone.com have been working on:
Did you know that Diversion was first released on iOS on May 25, 2011 and Android on July 5th, 2011? A lot has changed since then: nine upgrades to iOS, twenty updates to Android and the Unity game engine went from version 3.0 to Unity 2020.1 – plus a bunch of you players went from snotty-nosed kids, to teenagers to adults!
Unfortunately, you may have noticed that Diversion has not been available for a while on Android, and right now it’s not playing nicely with iOS 15 either.
Ezone.com have been working hard for months to get Diversion updated and back in your hands and they are excited to now have a beta version all ready for you to try out:
What’s new:
- New characters
- Level improvements and enhancements
- Cheat codes are back
- Cross-platform cloud save
- Rewarded in-house Ezone.com video ads only (no third-party ads)
There has also been a ton of boring technical stuff that I won’t bore you with too much: thousands of lines of code ported from UnityScript to C#, UI completely rebuilt, levels fixed, new physics engine, new particle system, new prefab system, tons of upgraded SDKs, etc
Anyway, there has already been months of work to get it this far, but there’s still a bunch of things to fix/add:
- Swimming pool bonus areas
- Leaderboards and achievements
- HoverWorld demo area
- More levels
- More characters
- Desktop version (for speedruns!)
Brothers Jamie and Simon from Ezone.com are trying to do all this themselves and to be honest they need your help. Here’s what you can do:
- Join the beta team
- Spread the word and get your friends to join too
- Share screenshots and videos and tag your friends on social media

Thanks for helping to bring back some happy gaming memories and hopefully even making some new ones. Cheers!
