We are making some solid progress on Hover World. The characters are now able to dismount from the board and run/jump around, which will add a huge amount of gameplay to the puzzle/platforming elements of the game. We now have Hover World running as a Universal version on iPhone 4 (with full retina display support), iPhone 3GS, and iPad.
And we also feel we’ve made a breakthrough with respect to making the game accessible to a larger number of players. Casual players will be able to use a ‘touch’ navigation control set-up. It is very intuitive – just touch on-screen where you want the character to go and they will make their way there. And hard-core gamers will be able to choose virtual joystick or tilt controls too.
